A fire in the Oak Run area has been contained. The Woodman Fire started near Snider Ranch Road at around 4 O’clock, apparently as a result of several escaped burn piles that a property owner allowed to get out of hand. Cal-Fire launched an aggressive response as the fire sent up a large smoke plume and threatened to jump Oak Run Road. The fire was contained Thursday night at 35 acres.
