1 Death, 13 Positive COVID Tests In Shasta County

More coronavirus deaths late last week brought the Shasta County total to 213. The latest was a man in his 50s. 13 new cases were reported from Thursday for a total of 11,509. An estimated 94 people have the virus right now, 7 people are hospitalized and 2 in intensive care.

Vaccine is free of charge and any Shasta County resident 16 and older is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Parents must be present to vaccinate anyone younger than 18. Details can be found at shastaready.org.

Tehama County has reported 5,359 cases and 56 deaths.
There have been 395 cases and 5 deaths in Trinity County.
1,899 have been reported in Siskiyou County with 19 deaths.
Butte County has reported 178 deaths among their 11,274 cases.
Lassen County has had 22 deaths among their 2,062 cases in the community and 2 deaths among the 3,594 cases in prison.
Humboldt County has had 3,518 cases and 36 deaths.
Modoc County has had 482 cases and 4 deaths.
