A Trinity County man remains accused of trying to kill two men after claiming it was self defense. On the night of April 3rd Trinity County Deputies responded to a double stabbing in the Hayfork area. Both stabbing victims were hospitalized and were in stable condition at last word. One of them was uncooperative but the other one apparently named the attacker as 25-year-old Luca Vujotic. He had fled the scene before deputies arrived, but the next day he showed up at the sheriff’s office and admitted to stabbing the two, saying they were trying to kill him and he had fled because other people also wanted to kill him. Vujotic was booked on two counts of attempted murder.
