A man was arrested for arson in Downtown Redding Saturday afternoon. Shortly after 4 O’clock Redding Fire Department was called for a small debris fire near the railroad tracks behind the Y.M.C.A. on Court Street. About $500 damage was done to some fencing. A fire investigator spoke with 32-year-old Brock Blumenthal. Following the interview, Blumenthal was arrested and booked into jail.
