A man was arrested on multiple felony charges Tuesday afternoon after what appeared to be an attempted carjacking. Redding Police say that shortly after 3 O’clock two women were in a car at Del Taco off Hilltop drive when 47-year-old Paul Dean Tabash brandished a handgun and threatened to kill them both. The women got out of the car and Tabash reportedly told a third person to drive him north. Officers caught up to the car on Northbound I-5 and pulled it over at the Highway 299 interchange. Tabash, who apparently had two handguns on him, was booked into jail.
