Anderson Man Will Be Sentenced To 6 Years In Prison

An Anderson man has pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges in a case that started with a surreptitious 9-1-1 call. On March 16th of last year dispatchers got an open line call on which they could hear a woman pleading “Travis Don’t Kill Me”, followed by a man saying “I’ll Shoot You”. 41-year-old Travis Waylon Hill was also heard physically assaulting the victim and telling her she would not walk out of there alive. Deputies responded quickly and intervened. A search turned up several guns, including two assault rifles. Last Tuesday Hill pleaded guilty to several charges and Tuesday he’ll be sentenced to six years in state prison.
