A motorcyclist who died in a crash on Railroad Avenue a week ago has been identified by the Shasta County Coroner’s Office as 59-year-old Sammy Ray Hartzog of Millville. At around 4:20 last Wednesday Hartzog was riding a big Harley-Davidson southbound on Railroad when a Toyota Avalon came out of the Owens Pharmacy parking. Hartzog lost control and was ejected prior to striking the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Toyota driver was uninjured
