Police in Yreka are investigating after a detonation of an improvised explosive device early Tuesday morning. At 4:12AM multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting an explosion sent officers to a location on Bruce Street. Two pipe bombs were found. One of them had been detonated and the other was partially detonated. The bomb squad safely collected the devices. No arrests have been made.
