Someone was shot in Yreka Monday afternoon. Yreka Police were called to Fairchild Medical Center after a report that a shooting victim was being transported there. A 38-year-old man from Dunsmuir had been shot in the chest and one of his hands. He was transferred to a Medford Hospital in critical condition. The shooting had apparently taken place at a trailer park near Campbell Avenue in Yreka. Officers were given a vague description of the suspects and their car, but they were unable to locate anyone.
