Multi-Decade Restoration Project On Clear Creek Wraps Up

A major federal rehabilitation project has been completed on Clear Creek. The multi-agency multi-decade project restored 2 miles of stream channel below Whiskeytown Dam. The final phase of the project was completed by the Yurok Tribe. Though it had once been diverted and exploited by miners, Clear Creek is now being called one of the most highly productive habitats for naturally produced Salmon and Steelhead in California.
