A 39-year-old Red Bluff man suffered a critical injury during a fight, and police are trying to find out who did the damage. A little before 2AM Saturday morning, medical help was called to a home on Walbridge Street for a man having trouble breathing. When paramedics arrived he was unresponsive and not breathing so CPR was started. The man was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Police learned he had been struck in the head with an unknown object while fighting with someone outside the home. Any witnesses who can describe the assailant are urged to call Red Bluff Police at 527-3131.
