Two Shot In Happy Valley, Deputies Detain 13 People

Two people were shot in Happy Valley Sunday morning, but so far the sheriff’s office has more questions than answers. At 5:30AM two shooting victims showed up at a Redding hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. They had apparently been in some sort of confrontation in Downtown Redding and when they arrived at a home on Lulu Lane in Happy Valley, issues escalated and shots were fired. A car belonging to one of the victims was found riddled with bullet holes, but the people at the Lulu Lane house were belligerent toward deputies. The SWAT Team was called to serve a search warrant at the house. 13 people were there, and they were detained and questioned. The sheriff’s office is turning to the public for help in the investigation.
