APD Arrests Alleged Fentanyl Dealer After Traffic Stop

A Redding man is accused of being a Fentanyl dealer after being busted by police in Anderson less than a week after a similar arrest in Redding. An APD Officer pulled over 28-year-old Michael Webb Monday evening for several vehicle code violations near North Street and Oak Street. The officer learned that Webb was on felony probation for drugs and believed he was on drugs at the time, so he searched him. He reportedly was in possession of 13 Grams of Fentanyl and was taken to the Anderson Police Station for a DUI of drugs exam. When Webb was left alone in the interview room, police say they saw him on surveillance camera trying to conceal another 7 Grams of Fentanyl and a small amount of Meth that he had hidden in his underwear. Last Wednesday Webb was arrested by Redding Police when he was allegedly in possession of 1.75 Ounces of Fentanyl. He was booked into jail again, with bail of $50,000.
