A convicted sex offender in Tehama County has been sent back to prison. 32-year-old Joshua Michael Guthrie was 18-years-old when he committed his initial offenses. He had moved to Red Bluff from out of state and was attending high school when he began sexual relationships with girls more than 3 years younger than him. He also sent them pornographic pictures. As part of his sentence Guthrie was required to register as a sex offender annually. He failed to do so and was arrested on October 31st of last year. He’s been sentenced to 7 years in state prison.
