Several fires were contained before causing much damage locally Wednesday. One was off Shasta Dam Boulevard near Toyon. Another fire burned behind Becca’s Cafe in Anderson. There was also a homeless cooking fire that got out of control under the Antelope Street Bridge in Red Bluff. Redding Fire Department handled a fire that started in a homeless camp in the area of Arizona Street in East Redding a little after 2AM Thursday morning. It was contained to about a half acre of dry grass.
