A Redding Police patrol SUV and a motorcycle are sporting a brilliant purple this month. The wraps were done by Signarama to recognize Elder Abuse Awareness Month. On June 12th a family health and safety fest will take place at the Sundial Bridge, along with a walk for elder abuse prevention. An elder abuse symposium is set for Win-River on June 17th. There’s also a food drive and a blood drive sponsored by the D.A.’s Office.
