Redding Police are currently searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday morning. Officers were called to a location on South Bonnyview just east of the intersection of East Bonnyview Road at about 4:53AM after receiving reports of a pedestrian down in the roadway. Arriving officers found an unidentified person deceased in the roadway. An unknown vehicle fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, according to RPD.Police have not released any information on the vehicle or driver.
