Public Health: 116 People Have Active COVID-19 Cases In Shasta County

230 Shasta County residents have died of COVID-19. Another 27 cases have been reported, as well as 875 negative tests. There’s been a total so far of 12,539 confirmed cases.An estimated 116 people have the virus right now; 16 are hospitalized and 4 are in intensive care.

The State of California’s color-coded tier system for Covid restrictions will end next Tuesday, meaning that Shasta County will end in the red tier.

There have been 416 cases and 5 deaths in Trinity County.
2,383 have been reported in Siskiyou County with 37 deaths.
Butte County has reported 190 deaths among their 12,131 cases.
Lassen County has had 21 deaths among their 2,162 cases in the community and 2 deaths among the 3,608 cases in prison.
Humboldt County has had 4,405 cases and 46 deaths.
Modoc County has had 526 cases and 4 deaths.
