SPI Closing Off Public Access Due To Risk Of Wildfire

Because of the extreme drought conditions and risk of wildfires, Sierra Pacific is going to stop allowing the public to access its forestlands. The closure begins Monday, and applies not only to road access, but walk-in access will also be forbidden on S.P.I.’s hundreds of thousands of acres of forest in Northern California. It’s likely to continue until the Fall rains.
