A driver who died last Thursday near Ingot has been identified by the coroner’s office as 25-year-old Jedediah Riley Eminger of Redding. Emiger’s red Dodge pickup truck left Highway 299 just east of Sugar Pine Camp Road and landed in Little Cow Creek. The CHP is still investigating. 911 callers reported that the pickup was being driven erratically just before the crash.
