Some Salt Fire evacuation orders were lifted Wednesday. The sheriff’s office reported that as 12:30PM Gregory Creek Road and roads accessed off of Gregory Creek Road are now open to residents only. The roads include Zola Drive, Cordes Court, Claus Lane, Herman Way, Branch Lane, and Chrismar Lane. All other evacuation orders remain in effect.
211 NorCal has setup an online dashboard to help residents in the Lakehead area affected the by Salt Fire. A disaster relief center will open Friday (7/8) at the the Lions Club in Lakehead to help residents. For families affected by the fire, Pathways To Hope For Children is also offering services at no cost. The center is open weekdays from 9AM to 4PM at 2280 Benton Drive in Redding.
