Toddler Found Dead In Hot Vehicle In Corning

A toddler died in a hot vehicle in Corning last Friday, according to the Corning Observer. The 23-month old boy was found shortly before 5 O’clock inside a car on Aiken Avenue. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office has found that the adults at the home had not left the child in the car, either intentionally or accidentally, but had been frantically looking for him prior to the discovery. An investigation is still underway and an autopsy was scheduled for this week.
