A fire Wednesday night near Igo was apparently caused by fireworks. The fire started under the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge, a span on Placer Road that goes very high above Clear Creek near Muletown Road. Cal-Fire says the fire started a little before 11PM when someone set off illegal fireworks over the side of the bridge. The fire was held to about 3 acres.
