Jury Selection Begins For Neurologist Accused Of Sex Crimes

A 64-year-old Redding doctor will finally go to trial on charges involving alleged sex crimes against his patients. Neurologist Hamid Rabiee was charged in February of 2018 with scores of felony counts after dozens of female patients reportedly accused him of touching their intimate areas during exams, under the guise of legitimate medical treatment. At least one of the women alleged digital penetration. Rabiee has entered not guilty pleas on all counts as he has remained behind bars for 3-and-a-half years. Jury selection for Rabiee’s trial begins this week.
