A fire in Weaverville tore through some homes Wednesday. At around 5 O’clock two houses were fully involved in the area of Forest Avenue and Miner Street. The neighborhood was evacuated as firefighters attacked the fire. A total of 4 structures were damaged, including the two homes. Forward progress on the vegetation fire was stopped at around 7 O’clock.
