Visiting Fire Crews Save Boys Life At Redding Hotel

A tragedy was prevented by some paramedics assigned to the Dixie Fire who were staying at a Redding hotel. They heard a woman scream at the poolside so they rushed outside. A 10-year-old boy was still partly in the pool and was unresponsive. He had water in the lungs, was not breathing and had no pulse. The paramedics from several agencies in Southern and Central California administered CPR and saved the boy’s life.
