Mexican Citizen Sentenced To 10 Years In Federal Prison

A third person has been sentenced for a large illegal cannabis cultivation site in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. 56-year-old Filemon Padilla Martinez of Mexico has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison for being the manager of the operation, which had 1,054 growing plants when it was raided in 2019. It was located on Tomhead Mountain in Tehama County. Two co-defendants have already been sentenced. The fourth defendant, Timothy Charles Wilson, is the only American citizen among them. He’s awaiting trial.
