Shasta County has experienced a few fires over the weekend.
The “Hiding Fire” is burning west of Happy Valley in the Cloverdale area near Dale Lane and Panther Road. Monday morning Cal-Fire is reporting 50 acres have burned with 30% containment.
A fire started in the Palo Cedro area just after 12:30PM Sunday. It was along Highway 44 west of Deschutes near Gilbert Road. Forward progress was stopped after burning around 6 acres and a motorhome, with a number of spot fires chased down as well.
